What to Serve with Ribeye: Simple Sides for a Full Dinner

The Gold Ribeye is our most reordered cut: well-marbled USDA Angus, butter-aged 28 days, and the one customers keep coming back to once they've tried it. At ₱1,399 it's a meal worth planning rather than just throwing on a pan. But a great steak is only the start. Here's what to add around it, using what's already in our range.

The starch

Go simple. The Gold Ribeye is already rich from 28 days of butter-aging, so the starch is there to balance the plate and stretch the meal, not to steal attention. Idahoan Mashed Potato (₱219) is the most natural choice: creamy, neutral, and ready quickly. It carries a pour of gravy cleanly and doesn't fight the beef.

If mashed potato feels too expected, the Creamy Truffle Pasta Kit (₱239) is the next pick. The earthy truffle note holds up next to a well-marbled ribeye better than plain pasta would, and it's quicker to prepare than it looks. We also carry a Creamy Pesto Pasta Kit (₱249) if you want something brighter and more herb-forward. Either pasta kit makes the table feel a little more put-together without much extra effort.

Pick one starch per meal. For a quiet weeknight, mashed potato. For something with a bit more occasion feel, truffle pasta.

A sauce

Two directions here, and they're different enough that it's worth thinking about. Beef & Herb Gravy Mix (₱59) is the warm, familiar pour. Best ladled over a slice of the resting ribeye so it soaks in, and it's the natural companion to mashed potato. It's also the lowest-cost addition on the table.

Heinz A.1. Sauce (₱179) works differently: it's sharper and tangier, best served in a small bowl on the side so people dip and take what they need. If you've never tried A.1. with butter-aged Angus, it's worth doing at least once. The tang cuts through the richness at exactly the right moment. For a weeknight dinner, the gravy mix is the practical call. For a more restaurant-feel finish, A.1. is the better side order.

Vegetables and fries

Mix Veggies (₱79) is the right call for a vegetable side. Sauté them lightly in the same pan after the steak comes out and the residual butter and fat do the seasoning for you. It makes the plate a complete meal rather than just beef and starch.

Cajun Fries (₱99) are optional but consistently popular when added to the table, especially if kids are eating alongside the adults. They're not a replacement for the main starch. Think of them as the bonus round everyone ends up grateful for, and easy enough to add to the basket without overthinking it.

For four people

If you're feeding a group, the Steak Night Set at ₱1,719 covers four people with a steak and add-ons already bundled at a combined saving. It's the easier starting point than building the basket piece by piece. Add a pasta kit or extra side from there to fill out the table. Cajun Fries and Mix Veggies at ₱99 and ₱79 round it out without much added cost.

A simple two-person dinner

For two people on a weeknight, this basket is hard to beat:

  • Gold Ribeye (₱1,399)
  • Idahoan Mashed Potato (₱219)
  • Beef & Herb Gravy Mix (₱59)
  • Mix Veggies (₱79)

Total around ₱1,756, delivered cold. That's roughly ₱878 each for a proper steak dinner at this grade of marbling, which compares well to eating out at any restaurant serving comparable beef. Adding Cajun Fries (₱99) rounds it out further if you want the table to feel fuller.

The same pairings work just as well for a Porterhouse (₱999) or T-Bone (₱949) on a lower-budget night, since all three are Classic Butter-Aged cuts from the same USDA Angus range.
