How does steak gift delivery in the Philippines work?
A steak gift from us is a normal order sent to someone else's address. You send the basket on Messenger, we confirm stock and the total, you pay by GCash or BPI, and you book a Lalamove or Grab from our Silang store to the recipient. There is no minimum order, so one pack is a real gift.
Put the recipient's name, number and address with a landmark in the order form, and write your message in the notes box, which is there for slice preferences and gift messages. There is no cash on delivery and you pay the courier fare yourself, so the person receiving it pays nothing at the door.
Tell them it is coming. Someone has to be home to take it: a rider who cannot hand over the pack still charges the fare, and frozen beef should not wait at a guardhouse all afternoon. A gift from Silang to Imus, Bacoor, Kawit or Dasmariñas is a short trip, and the no-minimum rule holds wherever the pack goes.
What steak should you give as a Christmas gift?
The best steak to give as a Christmas gift is one the recipient can cook without a recipe. Saikoro wagyu cubes are the safest choice: they sear in one to two minutes in any pan and stay tender. Give a ribeye to someone who already cooks steak, and the thick Giant Ribeye only to someone with an oven.
| Gift | What is in the pack | Price | Who it suits |
|---|---|---|---|
| Foodlabo Saikoro Steak 500g | 30–35 wagyu cubes | ₱689 | A couple, or a first-time steak cook |
| NK Foods Beef Saikoro 500g | 40–45 smaller, more marbled cubes | ₱769 | Someone who already loves wagyu |
| Prime Meltique Ribeye | 4 tallow-infused slices, half an inch | ₱1,499 | Someone who likes very rich beef |
| Classic Gold Ribeye | 1 kg, 4 butter-aged slices, half an inch | ₱1,599 | A household of three to four |
| Classic Giant Ribeye | 1 kg, 2 slices, 1–1.5 inches thick | ₱1,599 | A confident cook with an oven |
Be straight about Meltique if you give it. It is beef infused with beef tallow for wagyu-like marbling, not wagyu, so do not call it wagyu in your message. The Saikoro packs are the real wagyu on this list, both made in Japan.
How much does a steak gift cost?
A steak gift from us costs ₱689 to ₱1,599 for the pack, plus the courier fare, which you pay straight to Lalamove or Grab at its real rate. Add-ons round it out cheaply: Special Homemade Wagyu Sauce is ₱89, Heinz A.1 Original Sauce ₱179, Thyme Leaves ₱79, and an insulated bag ₱20 medium or ₱25 large.
Two combinations that work. The Foodlabo 500g with the wagyu sauce and a medium bag comes to ₱798 before the fare. The Classic Gold Ribeye with A.1 sauce and thyme comes to ₱1,857 before the bag and the fare.
When should you order a steak gift for Christmas?
Order a steak gift for Christmas by mid-December for Metro Manila, Laguna and Batangas, and by the third week of December for central Cavite. Couriers run at holiday load late in the month, which is hard on frozen beef. Sending early costs nothing: vacuum-sealed and frozen, our cuts keep around 2 to 3 months in a home freezer.
That makes November or the first week of December the easy window to send it and forget about it. The same December courier problem shapes our guide to steak for Noche Buena, if you are also feeding your own table.
What should the recipient do when the steak arrives?
The recipient should put the steak straight into the freezer, still sealed, the moment it arrives. To cook it, they thaw the pack overnight in the fridge, never on the counter, and cook it within 1 to 2 days. Say this in your gift message, because a frozen gift left on a table all afternoon is wasted.
Check they have freezer space before you send a full kilo. And confirm the address before you book the rider: perishable beef cannot come back once it is delivered, so a pack sent to the wrong gate is a gift lost.
Pick the pack, write the message, and send the order on Messenger.
